- Nature of Grievance: On July 10th, 2006 the Company put into place a change of schedule that involved the starting of a new shift and changes in job classification for several employees. No official notice was given to the effected employees within the proper timeframe required by contract. Reason given by management as to why the notice was late is that the Plant Manager was on vacation at the time.
- Adjustment Desired: To be made whole. Proper Notification of all employees must be made on time, in accordance with the contract, regardless of vacation and/or holiday schedules of the management.
- Disposition by Company: Company agrees to do this.

- Grievance Based on Contract Article: V, Sect. 2
- Nature of Grievance: On January 3rd, 2006 a reduction in the Lift Truck Operator work force took place. Seniority rights were not followed, per contract, resulting in senior employees being assigned to another shift and/or being reduced in grade/pay while a junior employee received no reduction or shift change.
- Adjustment Desired: Make the bargaining unit whole. Reduction in force must be done by seniority per the contract. Effected employees must be compensated for any loss of pay caused by reduction.
- Disposition by Company: Reduction in force was done per contract, grievance denied.
